Tips for Perfect Attendance
  • Did You Know?Did You Know?
    • Attending school regularly helps children feel better about school - and themselves.
    • How many absences are too many?   10% of the school year - that’s 18 missed days or 2 days a month.
    • Classroom instruction begins as soon as the morning bell rings at 8:55.
    • Every student counts.  Your child's attendance helps his/her classroom meet their attendance goal...and earn special rewards!

Our Pledge and Vision

"I am an important person and part of the caring community at Crawfordville Elementary.  I pledge to show respect for all students regardless of difference, make responsible choices, and be someone others can trust.  I am proud to be a Crawfordville Cougar!"

Written by Mr. Jeff Van Syckle, our Guidance Counselor

VISION:  "Our focus is to create an atmosphere of warmth, trust, and respect by continuously role modeling and helping others understand the importance of such an atmosphere.  We will lead students to believe in themselves by using data to show their strengths, data to help them set goals, and data to plan instruction so that students CAN meet their goals.  We will know students, take an interest in our students, and appreciate the diversity of our students.  Only positive, professional, productive approaches will be used towards parents, students and colleagues in order to establish and maintain the needed teamwork that it takes to succeed."
